This adorable little cafe dubs itself a "social enterprise." The cafe is operated by Australian-born sisters, Lauren and Cassie. Besides providing jobs and education to the people they employ from the local community, they are also dedicated to supporting the community through incentives such as soup kitchens and health workshops. The team at Sister Srey are also active members of local projects such as "Clean Up Temple Town" which is dedicated to creating a cleaner Siem Reap.

Not only is the cafe focused on the sustainability of the Siem Reap community, they also make some amazing food! I had some bacon and chutney bagel concoction; the specifics of my meal are somewhat hazy in my memory but one thing I am sure about is that it was delicious.



I would go back to Sister Srey in a heartbeat. I admire the cafe's dedication towards progression in Cambodia and respect the food they make!
