Readers familiar with the delicious world of fine chocolate will be familiar with Sisko Chocolate in Melbourne. Helmed by chocoholic entrepreneur Christina Tantsis, the kitchen in Hawthorn illustrates how luxury couverture chocolate can be used creatively and enjoyed aesthetically while remaining decadently delicious. More of a fine chocolate design house than retailer, Sisko Chocolate produces sculptures, centrepieces and flavours all made from the food of love. It also hosts private and public sessions on tasting and appreciating chocolate.
To celebrate her birthday, Christina decided to combine her passion for chocolate and specialty cakes. The result is a 3-day bash featuring the creations of Michèle Froidevaux, more popularly known as 'Iron Chef Shellie'. Shellie will be working out of Sisko Chocolate's small batch kitchen and baking two of her favourite cakes, namely the chocolate stout cake and the yogurt berry cake. Sisko Chocolate will then put its collaborative touch on the cakes.

These beautiful creations which combine the skill of Shellie and art of Sisko Chocolate are only available during this pop up event from 17 to 19 October. To sweeten the experience, the birthday celebration will also include an instore sale on the entire Sisko Chocolate retail range. Make sure you pre-order or visit the studio to grab a bite of either or both cakes. Don't forget to wish Christina "Happy Birthday" while you're there.
