I had visited before–quite a long time ago, and I confess I was expecting to be surprised as I had heard of some of the many developments since my visit. I think my first visit would have been a short time after the winery was created at Mt Cotton - which is between Brisbane and the Gold Coast - easy for visitors to Queensland.

I was most impressed to see the developments, and the many facilities open to visitors and sadly I will have to return as I had "overbooked" my day and had limited time to explore it all.

There are many amazing events held at Sirromet and I learned the Sting will be performing there this week – February 19th, 2023. Click here for information. My friends and I had lunch there, but I had explored a little before they arrived and was delighted to see some of the art which will be on view until March 26th.

There's plenty to do - coffee and more at the cafe, great food at the restaurants, outdoor seating, winery tours, and plenty of space for the children to safely run around. And you can, of course, purchase their wine.

There are great function spaces for big events and great accommodations there. I have it on good authority from family members that the glamping is awesome!

So put Sirromet on your Bucket List!
