The Frick Collection will be presenting the celebrated 'Flaming June (c.1895) of Lord Frederic Leighton (1830–1896) as part of its summer exhibitions. This masterpiece of British painting on loan from the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico is seldom lent and rarely shown in the United States.

This single-work exhibition will be accompanied by an illustrated booklet with essays by Frick Senior Curator Susan Grace Galassi and by Pablo Perez d'Ors, Associate Curator of European Paintings, Museo de Arte de Ponce. This exhibition is made possible through the generous support of The Peter Jay Sharp Foundation and Marianna and Juan Sabater. Don't miss this first showing in 20 years of the iconic painting in New York City.
