Enjoy The Gem Museum Experience Partnering with The Far East Gem Institute, the organiser offers visitors an educational event highlight that walks visitors through the life cycle of a gemstone from the mines to the market. Get a hands-on experience with gem materials and gem testing equipment in this interactive zone.
Witness the Inaugural Launch of Art of Living Preview For the very first time, Art of Living Preview is launched within the 5th Edition of SJGF. By coming to the fair, you will not only see the bling from the main fair but also artsy fartsy featuring contemporary art, crafts, furniture and home decoration from more than 30 artists and designers across Asia and Europe.
Hong Kong artist Amanda Tong will be showing a live throwing demonstration for the first time in public. Watch her live action on 28-29 October 2pm at Jewels Arena and 6.30pm at Art of Living.
Join Free Jewels Tour Join the curated tour for free at at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm daily. On 30th October, the tour will end at 3pm. Visitors will be shown the key highlights of the show. The tour is approximately 30 minutes. Please email SJGF-SG@ubm.com to indicate your interest.
Show Off Your Artisanal Skills and Win The Prize Visitors can participate in Design Your Own Ring Competition. This is an exclusive opportunity to create their very own personalised rings by utilising high precision 3D rendering technology. The most eye-catching designs will win top prizes from JDMIS Jewellery Design and Management International School, Singapore. The winner will witness their designs being fashioned into a one-and-only jewellery piece, culminating in the finishing of a wearable piece of art.

JDMIS returns with Gem Jamming, a series of complimentary bite-sized workshops about jewellery and gemstones. Be Entertained by Violin Performances
Exclusive Violin Performance by Chloe Chua, a 10-year old award-winning artist, will be held on 28th October 4pm and 4.30pm at Jewel Arena. Violinist Hu Taojiazi (胡桃佳子), who is active in both Singapore and China, will perform on 29th October 2017 12 noon and 3pm and on 30th October 2017 12 noon at Jewel Arena.
