The Singapore Film Festival Australia (SGFF), hosted by Temasek Club (NSW), returns this Spring and to celebrate WeekendNotes is giving away a double pass to the "Wayang Boy" screening!
Proudly sponsored by Optus and High Commission of the Republic Singapore (Canberra), this event will showcase three Singapore films on Saturday, 31 October 2015 at Monkey Baa Theatre Company.
The Singapore Film Festival Australia will commence with an Opening Ceremony at 11am followed by the first feature film is "Wayang Boy", a family comedy, about Singaporeans living amidst the influx of foreign immigrants.
At 2pm event-goers will have an opportunity to meet Mr Chai, director of the third feature "That Girl in Pinafore".
At 3pm a tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, "Time nor Tide – Remembering Lee Kuan Yew, Public man, Private life" will be screened (while this is a free screening, registration is mandatory).
At 4.30pm "That Girl in Pinafore" will conclude the festival.
The tickets will cost $15 for "Wayang Boy" and "That Girl In a Pinafore" each. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. The awarded writer can pick up their prize at the venue on the event day (arrive just before 11am).
The winner will be drawn on Monday 29th October 2015 and notified by email.
