If you are into creative industry, this is a must visit event for you!

Design Trails: Thoughtful Design is a hop on and hop off bus tour where participants can visit a line-up of open houses. Design Trails is organised by DesignSingapore Council and curated by Shophouse & Co. Starting from NDC, participants joining on the 19 March tour will be visiting The Half Half Studio, Floral Magic, Papyress, and Fictive Fingers.

If you love flower and scents, come to Flower Magic as there are flower arrangement demos and an introduction to scent from 12.30pm to 4.45pm. While at Fictive Fingers, the highlight is on the food styling and photography demo by Elodie Bellegarde at 1pm and 2.30pm. Hani and Aisah Dalduri schedule their talks at 4pm and 5.15pm as they share how tradition, heritage, culture and personal stories have influenced the creation of their products.

Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café offers $10 off with minimum spending of $50. It is within walking distance from NDC.



The tour offered on 20 March will cover these places The South Beach, Detention Barracks, The Cranes, and Karafuru Desserts and as usual it will start from NDC.

The Cranes - 22 and 24 Crane Road, Singapore 429365
This is a twin conserved shophouse designed by Ong&Ong Experience Design featuring six units of apartment with communal spaces and shared amenities. Scheduled Guided Tour will be conducted at 1:45pm & 3:15pm. There will be talks scheduled throughout the day.

At Karafuto Desserts - 8 Jalan Klapa, Singapore 199320 – you can listen to Head Chef Michael at 2.45pm and 4pm while satisfying your taste buds with Japanese inspired cuisine.

Shophouse and Co will curate a movie screening. It is a documentary zoomed onto the creative industry in Hong Kong though the eyes of both start-ups and well known professionals. This is a Singapore premiere.

Prior to the screening, Jackson Tan (Black) will share his experience and project Creative©ities – Mapping Creativity in Asia-Pacific's Cities Today. He was featured in the Fifty Years of Singapore Design back in 2015, and had won President's Design Award "Designer of the Year" in 2007.
