For the next six months Singapore will be enjoying car-free Sundays on the final Sunday of each month.
It will kick off on February 28th with a mass walking, jogging and cycling event along a 4.7km route of fully and partially closed roads. The area will be utilised as venues for mass aerobic workout sessions, walking tours and street performances.
The starting time will be from 7am in front of the National Gallery Singapore until 7pm in some parts of the city district. Some roads will be reopened at 9am and 12 noon.
The National Gallery Singapore, Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM), and Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall will open earlier at 9am instead of 10am, do visit with your family members and friends. These museums and concert hall offer free admissions only for Singapore citizens and PRs. For others, admission fee is chargeable.
In addition to walking, jogging and cycling on the closed roads, rollerblades, unicycles, wheelchairs, prams and skateboards are allowed on the roads.Please do take note motorised equipment are not allowed, such as hover-boards, e-bikes, Segways, etc, as these activities could be dangerous in a crowded setting and are currently not allowed on roads and park connectors under prevailing guidelines
You can also take part in fitness group exercises or try your hand at different sports at the Sports Try Outs such as 3-a-side Basketball, Mini Tennis and fun football activities conducted by ActiveSG Football Academy principal and Aleksandar Đurić, the Bosnian-born Singapore citizen who is a local football legend besides Fandi Ahmad.
Food lovers can look forward to "Breakfast@Empress" where you can indulge in local delights, such as roti prata, nasi lemak and mee rebus. Two foodtrucks will be stationed along Connaught Drive from 8am to 7pm to serve you.
There is also the Monument Trail, a guided group tours of historical landmarks as well as heritage and interesting trees within the Civic District to share the story of Singapore's history, growth and development.

ENVISION: Sculptures @ the Garden City offers free guided tour and experience the public artworks by Singapore and internationally renowned Asian artists.
Time: 10am. Meet at the lobby of Asian Civilisations Museum
There will be street performances and activities by mime artist, balloon sculptor, lion dancers, stilt walkers, martial arts performers, Chinese drummers, and various acts by instrumentalists. held at Esplanade Park, Connaught Drive and Empress Place from 9am to 6pm.
