SingaPlural 2016 returns for its 5th edition this March. It is the anchor event of Singapore Design Week.
Singaplural is curated to present experiences as equations of our senses; an agglomeration of scent, texture, visual, sound and taste.
There will be design installations, tours, workshops, and talks held on the festival site, 99 Beach Road.
Project X is its flagship programme where design teams from various disciplines are given a single material to create lifestyle products. The material for this year is Luxx Newhouse' Hi-Macs. Weekend Worker, Voidworks, Studio Juju, and Park Associates will be participating in this project.

here . Various tours and workshops will be offered too. One of the highlight is the tour in Dakota Estate.
Dakota Adventures will conduct the walking tour on 12 and 13 March 2016 9AM to 12PM. The remaining residents who live in the iconic Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT) flats in Dakota Crescent are slated to move out by 2016. These are clusters of old flats are one of the oldest public housing built in 1958. A playground there is called an Old Dove - a iconic playground in the heart of many residents who live and had been living there.

Geylang Adventures debunks stereotypes of Geylang and presents a refreshing perspective to the multi-faceted social fabric which exists in the area. It will conduct the walking tour on 12 and 13 March 2016 2PM to 5PM, and
tickets are priced at $40/person.

The other interesting 3-in-1 tour would be related would be a combination of a printing company, a coffee machine company, and a dedicated Children's Centre for Creativity. STPI will introduce you to the print and paper making techniques. Singapore's first dedicated creative space for children and families, the Children's Centre for Creativity offers a series of creative spaces incorporating participative opportunities, custom-built installations, interactive artworks and technology.
