Silversea Cruises Millenium Class
For her first and only visit to Darwin this cruise ship season, Silversea CruisesSilver Whisper will dock at Darwin's Fort Hill Wharf West Berth, at 6 am on Friday 2 March 2018. As just one of the big ships berthing in Darwin this season, this is a great opportunity for cruise ship enthusiasts and children alike to come along and see Silver Whisper.
Currently on her 121 day 2018 World Cruise (aka La Grande Bellezza), Silver Whisper is akin to the charms of a stylish boutique hotel. As one of Silversea's Millenium class ships, Silver Whisper and her sister ship Silver Shadow provide world class accommodation and luxury with a passenger to crew ratio of 1.26:1.

Embarking from Los Angeles and sailing towards her final destination of Rome, guests can choose to do as little or as much of the whole cruise as they like with mini-cruises offered within the package. Silver Whisper arrives in Darwin from Cairns after departing Sydney in late February and travelling via Brisbane, Hamilton Island and Townsville. After departing Darwin around 7 pm, Silver Whisper will be sailing directly to Bali to undertake the Asia sector of the cruise.
At 190 metres in length and with 10 decks, Silver Whisper proudly boasts 194 outside suites, ranging from 26.7 metres squared to 133.3 metres squared. Eighty percent of these feature teak balconies.
Guests can choose from a range of suites from Owner's to Grand, Royal, Silver, Medallion, Terrace, Veranda and Vista Suite. The Royal Suite is said to be commanding and majestic and has space enough for you to entertain away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the guests. Those choosing a Royal Suite can choose from one bedroom of two and enjoy the benefits of a separate dining area and bar, marbled bathroom, walk-in robe and espresso machine along with a range of complimentary indulgences.

Dining on Silver Whisper is from a choice of four restaurants including The Restaurant, La Terrazza, The Grill or La Dame by Relais and Chateaux. The Grill features lava stone cooking with guests invited to cook their own food right at their table. The lava stone is sourced from volcanic rock and is heated in an oven at 400 degrees Celsius before being brought to your table. During the day The Grill is a daytime rotisserie and gourmet salad and burger bar, enabling guests to build their own burgers from the best meat available.
Entertainment on Silver Whisper does not disappoint, guests can choose from shopping at a range of boutiques to the Show Lounge, Panorama Lounge, Card Room and Zagara Spa. The Show Lounge is a multi-tiered venue showing a broad array of entertainment from full scale productions to classical soloists and films.
