Indulge in a Decadent High Tea
Silva Spoon is a stylish, popular boutique café and store specialising in tea and coffee. The owner is both a tea sommelier, study of tea, and a baker in her own right and employs another two to create magnificent creations commonly known as cakes. This term doesn't begin to describe the works of art available per slice or for that special occasion.
This emporium wins awards – 2016 for the second consecutive year the Trip Advisors Award of Excellence, a huge achievement with more than 140 reviews raving about the ambience, the location and the fare. Many people are looking for any excuse to visit – it has won the best Teahouse in Queensland title for very good reason; plus the Golden Leaf Award. Service is efficient, the meals delightful but the lengthy diverse menu for beverages and cakes are the focus.
With a huge selection of blends and everything necessary for tea and coffee making this is a real tea drinkers Aladdin's cave. The displays are a visual joy and there is a choice of seating inside and out, outside looks towards Cotton Tree Park.
Visit this quaint establishment to imbibe in the social and cultural tradition of a genuinely decadent high tea any weekday between 7am and 5pm or on a weekend from 8am to 5pm or for a bespoke cake creation for that special event. Cakes slices range from $7-8 and are all freshly baked on the premises. Gourmet sandwiches range from $6.50 - $15 with a special latte menu. It is an experience everyone should have and without doubt you will return for more.
