At Central Park Mall, located on 28 Broadway Street, opposite the UTS, an all day and night skating rink will be popping up for the kids' enjoyment and entertainment this Spring.

The rink will open for its first day on Friday the 23rd of September at 10am with admission into the rink completely free. From 10am until 4pm, children can skate around the ice rink with friends and family, then as the sun goes down, each child on the ice will be given headphones for their own silent disco!

The Silent Disco van will be placed on the green with two live DJ's every day, playing everything from old school classics to new released tunes straight to your own ears. It's like your very own personal concert, where you can skate and dance your worries away!

The disco will run from 4-8pm and the event holders are offering a $10 voucher for the first 100 kids on the ice at 4pm, which can be used at any of the cooperating retailers in the Central Park Mall.

Important note to remember as it is a FREE event, only 45 people are allowed on the ice at any time, so to keep it fair each session will run for 45 minutes throughout the day. But other than that, these holidays at Central Park will be an amazing time for the kids to let their hair down after plotting away at school!

Central Park Mall is only a 5 minute walk from Central Station and plenty of buses run through this area of the CBD. For a family friendly and fun event these school holidays, join in on the fun of what is the Silent Skating Disco.
