A sneak peek of Europe above the rooftops; sit, eat, drink and experience the intimate ambiance at Siglo Bar.

We can all fantasise about sipping espressos in Venice or getting lost in a bottle of Pinot in Paris, but this real life experience is usually quite aloof for the majority of us.

There's been a miracle, and now the experience is right above our heads.

The beautiful rooftop setting of Siglo Bar, had me in a daze. It truly felt like I'd been plucked from Melbourne and placed right in the heart of Venice, Italy. The atmospheric mood created by the flicker of weeping candles, added to the all too surreal European experience, helped along by furniture that takes its cues from France - woven cafe chairs, folding wood and metal park chairs.
The food and drinks menu is very traditional, serving things such as apple and cheese platters complimented by vintage red wines at very reasonable prices.

Get drunk on the love of food and wine, whilst looking out onto the floodlit parliament building across the road. Simplicity and sophistication at its best.
