Located in famous Woolloomooloo, Sienna Marina is a Restaurant and Bar that has a warm atmosphere, serves a wide variety of food and has seating both outdoors and indoors, this help to cater for everyone needs, especially smokers.

I have visited the Sienna Marina a number of times and each time I've visited I have ordered pizza's as the restaurant has built quite a strong reputation for serving first class pizza's, some saying the best in Sydney. Having tasted the pizza's there I'd have too say that they are top class.

This last time I visited, instead of pizza, I thought I'd try a slightly different dish and ordered the Gnocchi at Sienna dish as well as a Cafe Latte. I'm a big lover of pasta dishes especially gnocchi or tortellini with rich creamy sauces. If you've read some of my previous articles you probably know this anyhow.

My girlfriend was with me as well. She ordered a good old fashion Beef Burger but more about the Beef Burger later.

When my gnocchi was served, the presentation made me want to dive right into it. The sauce looked rich and creamy, it was served piping hot and the gnocchi looked and tasted as if it was homemade and not purchased from the frozen section of the local supermarket. I added a sprinkle of chilli flakes and I'm happy to say that this is one of the best gnocchi dishes I've had thus far.

The Cafe Latte as expected was served just right. It was served hot, (not luke warm, one of my pet hates), it was creamy and the coffee tasted smooth, not too bitter like coffee's I've had at other places.

The Beef Burger also looked appetizing; it was served with a side helping of chips and looked to be pretty filling. The burger included all the ingredients you would expect to find in a old fashion Beef Burger. My girlfriend's feedback was that that the burger had a nice filling and tasted pretty good.

Sienna Marina has been known to have a few celebrities visit from time to time so if you decide to visit it might be an idea to keep an eye out for them. You can find out who some of the famous people are who visit, by checking out the photo gallery section on the official Sienna Marina web site.

The service was friendly, and we felt we received good value for money. The restaurant is a great place to visit on the weekend with a group of friends on a sunny day, overlooking Woolloomooloo wharfs while sipping on a cocktail.

I plan on visiting Sienna Marina again in the very near future.
