The Space Theatre at the Adelaide Festival Centre welcomes the world premiere of Side to One.
Side to One is a modern dance study of connection and movement. It explores the search for love, acceptance and a soul mate, and it examines why some people find it harder to make that connection than others.
The piece will be performed and was choreographed by Lisa Griffiths and Craig Bary.
Griffith studied at the Centre for Performing Arts at the Queensland University of Technology and studied sculpture at the Central School of Art, Adelaide, and you can see her sculpture's eye influencing her dancer's body.
New Zealand born Bary has worked in Sydney and Japan with leading choreographers and has worked as a movement consultant, alongside director Sam Strong at Belvior Street Theatre, Sydney.
And if you want to experience the movement and connection on a deeper level, there will be an additional dance workshop. Participants will be lead through a serious of Yoga and Contemporary Technique by Griffith and Bary, then they'll get a chance to see and ask questions about how the project came to form.
