On Bulimba's popular Oxford Street, a little shop has moved in to wow the crowds with gorgeous vintage and handmade products as well as a large range of crafty materials and restored furniture. As Brisbane's premier destination for vintage crafts, Side Street Vintage is fast becoming the go-to place for gifts as well as creative classes and events.



Previously in a side street of Hawthorne, the shop was outgrowing its current venue and was in need of a new and exciting shopfront in a central location. This new shop is right smack-bang in the middle of Bulimba with lots of passers-by getting a good view of what's on offer.

Husband and wife team, Roy and Tracey have a shared love of all things vintage. Tracey uses her warm and friendly crafting space to ensure that skills are passed on and preserved for future generations. The small classes include macrame, crochet and rag-rugging which are great for beginners and include all materials and instruction to rekindle your favourite childhood craft.



In his workshop, Roy breathes new life into vintage furniture, often giving pieces a modern or fashionable twist. He is also responsible for the vintage ephemera and advertising available in store along with the signature Queensland inspired style of the space and items for sale.
