Looking for a quick bite to eat last week, whilst hanging around Kelvin Grove, found us walking into Siam Spice. Siam Spice is a Thai inspired restaurant in the busy little Kelvin Grove Village.

The Village Centre, as it is known, is a popular location for many locals of Kelvin Grove and the students from QUT.

Siam Spice is located on the Corner of Carraway Street and Ramsgate Street. It is open daily from 11am to 9pm for delivery, takeaway and dine-in. Parking is either along the street or the undercover Woolworths carpark is free for the first 2 hours.

We were seated by friendly staff as we walked in. It wasn't very busy at around 6pm on a Tuesday evening, so we were able to sit where ever we like. They are BYO and sell beer, wine and cider. We bought a bottle of white wine from the local BWS around the corner.

The menu was quite varied and had "all day specials" for around $15 for a decent sized meal. This is where my husband chose his Stirfried Pork and rice from for $14.90.

I decided on the Prawn Paw Paw Salad for $19.90.

Meals were served relatively quickly, despite the large number of takeaway customers. The dishes were simple but tasty. Not all that spicy certainly hit the spot.

Siam Spice was just what we expected for a quick bite to eat. Finishing in plenty of time to go and pick up number 1 son from his football training at QUT.
