I'm a Brisbane resident who likes all things weird, unique and exotic. And I'm on a quest to hunt down the places in Brisbane that step outside the boundaries of everyday life.

Welcome to Modern Thai Heaven
Siam Pung is an exotic Thai cafe and dessert bar located in West End. But it is no average dessert bar, it is an alluring palace blending modern and exotic and bringing Brisbane residents what they have been missing out on all this time.

West End is known for its alternative nature, its bright culture and its quirky cafes. Siam Pung definitely fits this brief with its exotic and eye catching design featuring its rustic wooden furniture, its elegant Thai art and its sensational greenery. It is a modern cafe but not with the boring white, perfectly shaped furniture. It is a Thai version of modern with true Thai culture.

On offer are cakes, authentic Thai desserts and a range of bubble teas including mango and lychee and even winter melon!

We tried the Thai tea cake, pandan custard crepes and taro milk tea which all came out in a snap and had very interesting flavours. I was pleasantly surprised that the Thai tea cake actually tasted like tea.
