Heading to Washington for a day trip? Siam House is the top meeting and fuelling place before heading out to explore the sights. Located within meters of the rail station, this small and simple restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a massive 93 item plus Thai menu with typical noodle, stir fry and curry favourites. The seafood Pad Thai is a winner with large and juicy prawns, calamari, and scallops the highlight of the dish. These American serves are enough for two or you can ask to pack leftovers to go. Be sure to stop into the fire station next door for a quintessential photo opportunity and a chat with the firemen, and then to the convenience store next door to buy bottles of water and any other snacks before your day of sightseeing.
