Plan your Visit

Pick up a map, brochures, flyers, or the Children's Tour Book at the Visitor Centre front desk.

Don't hesitate to ask for directions or help from the Visitor Services staff and volunteers, they are always ready to answer all of your questions.

Children like using maps and finding their way around. Let your children take the lead.

Choose a time of day that is best for your children and their energy levels, preferably mornings.

Be Respectful. Shrine Custodians and The Shrine Guard are here to make sure the artifacts and visitors are safe.

After your trail around the Shrine, talk to your children about the experience. Children could write about their experience, may be research about one of the soldiers and discover the history behind it all.
