Based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film, Shrek The Musical will be staged at Her Majesty's Theatre from 16 February to 12 April 2020.

Finding his swamp overrun by fairy tale creatures who've been banished by the corrupt Lord Farquaad aspiring to be king. Shrek makes a deal with Farquaad to regain control of his swamp in return for rescuing Princess Fiona, whom Farquaad intends to marry. With the help of Donkey, Shrek embarks on his quest but soon falls in love with the princess, who is hiding a secret that will change his life forever.

Starring as everyone's favourite green ogre is Ben Mingay, Lucy Durack is Princess Fiona with Todd McKenney as Lord Farquaad, Nat Jobe is Shrek's best friend, Donkey. Australian music royalty Marcia Hines will play The Dragon for performances from 18 March onwards.

Taking on the roles within the fairy-tale realm are Ross Chisari, Annie Chiswell, Benjamin Colley, Andy Conaghan, Denise Devlin, Mackenzie Dunn, Blake Erickson, Manon Gunderson-Briggs , Hollie James, Rubin Matters, Sarah Murr, Joshua Robson, Monique Sallé, Tom Sharah, Leigh Sleightholme, Suzanne Steele, Rhys Velasquez, Caleb Vines and Sascha Wykes. The role of Young Princess Fiona will be shared by Charlize Costantin, Lilah Crotty, Isobel Lauber and Charlotte Lundy.

The musical features a terrific score of 19 songs and is full of big laughs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery.

Shrek The Musical is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages at Her Majesty's Theatre from 16 February to 12 April 2020.
