Gluttony presents 'Showtime' running as part of Adelaide Fringe Festival at Gluttony: The Octagon at 8:15pm from March 1st until March 10th and 3:30pm from March 12th until March 14th.

Showtime held in The Octagon tent in Gluttony is a stage show with five cast members 'Ruben Quan, 'Charlie Caper', 'French Rose', Lisa Lotte and MC Justin. Its high wire entertainment featuring circus stunts and magic tricks as Gluttony brings the best of Vegas to you this fringe season.

Hosted by Mc Justin get ready for some ping-pong balls tricks as he entertains the audience between acts with juggling, but not your typical juggling as he pops the ping-pong balls into the air with his mouth and catches them.

Every Vegas show needs glittery costumes, aerobatic circus tricks, a topless man and alcohol, this show ticks all these boxes. When Charlie Caper takes to the stage take notice of his bow tie, this is important because several times during his set the box-tie comes off and into various objects without being seen.

Caper memorizes the audience with slight of hand magic making ping-pong balls disappear and reappear in different places and his poing-pong ball glass trick is amazing and leaves you wondering how it was even possible.

Ruben Quan's acrobatic routine is just beautiful to watch as he climbs up a pole centered the middle of the stage and holds his body using one hand as he rotates around the top of the pole.

He picks two audience members to join him on stage as part of his routine. These gentlemen are asked to face each other and put there hands on each others shoulders and stay steady. Quan ties a plate to one gentleman's head and places a glass of scotch on top. He then tries to ascend one gentlemen and does a handstand on top while he drinks the glass of scotch with no hands.

When Rose takes to the stage the audience can't help but laugh at her witty french singing and just when you thought she couldn't get any funnier she takes volunteers from the audience. Three gentlemen one each with a bigger drum than the last have to hit the drum to the music whenever she says 'Bang Bang', this was highly amusing and gained her a huge applause.

As the show came to an end Lisa Lotte took to the stage with a hula-hoop routine. She maneuvered her body completely through a tiny hula-hoop for the audiences enjoyment. As she proceeded she performed hula-hoops tricks using her entire body swinging them from her hips, thighs and arms. What made this different to any hula-hoop routine was that the hoops had fluoro disco lighting that changed colour with the music, presenting straight colours, zebra and tiger prints and strobe lighting.

Showtime is a sexy cocktail of music, magic and circus running at this years Adelaide Fringe in Gluttony: The Octagon. Add Showtime to your list of Fringe shows to see, 5/5 Stars.
