Following on from previous exhibitions SITHOM, AASPI now brings Shot in the Heart of Australia (SITHOA) to the Victorian Artists Society in East Melbourne this winter.
Proudly presented by the Australian Association of Street Photographers Incorporated (AASPI), this exciting new exhibition encompasses all that is wondrous and special in Australia.
SITHOA reveals and explores the decisive and often indecisive moments that occur in our wonderful diverse cities and beyond. The exhibition proudly showcases the engaging imagery from varied and enthusiastic local and interstate AASPI members who are inspired by Australia's eclectic heart.
Those who love this genre of photography know the feeling of elation when they capture something truly unique, fleeting, humorous, decisive and graceful.
The displayed works are for sale directly from the photographers and through the gallery.
The exhibition will be held in the beautiful Frater, Hammond and McCubbin galleries at the historic Victorian Artists Society building from 28 July 2022 - 8 August 2022. Entry is free.
An Opening Event will take place on Thursday 28 July 2022, 6:30pm to 8:15pm.
