What appears to be a grand entrance to a Castle down below is actually the home of Jasmin Organics Skincare in Long Road, Tamborine Mountain. Open 7 days from 9am to 5pm, Jasmin Organics is the purest organic skincare facility in Australia. With many ingredients being grown on the property, their products are 100% chemical free with a minimum of 95% content being certified organic ingredients. Being certified, Jasmin Organics adhere to strict Australian and American organic standards and government audits. Jasmin was also the first company in the World to be awarded The Greenest Formulations Prize at the inaugural Sustainable Beauty Awards in Paris.

Founder Lihua Song has a deep passion for environmental change and with this in mind had the vision to create a range of skincare for women that combined both science and nature. The range includes a Cleansing Collection, Facial Care, Rejuvenation, Scrubs, Face Masks, Eye Gel, Hand and Nail Cream, Body Lotion, Anti-Ageing Serum, Suncare, Lipstick and more recently the Koala Baby Range which is totally vegetable so if baby happens to eat the skincare, it is completely safe.

I felt like Maria von Trapp as I wandered around the beautiful gardens and amongst rows and rows of vibrant lavender bushes which certainly gave a feeling of the mountain being alive at the sight before you. All water is recycled from the manufacturing plant to the gardens through a transpiration system of pipes. When the weather becomes warmer, the water from the pipes evaporates up through the ground to nourish the plants.
