Find out how to save money & get creative in the kitchen

Anne Murphy, the founder of Domesblissity, a popular website for frugal, family-friendly recipes, money saving ideas and lifestyle tips, is presenting a new workshop series this Autumn, entitled 'Shop Smart, Eat Well'.

The first 2-hour workshop will take place on Thursday, 20 April 2017 at Redland Community Centre and show you how easy it is to save hundreds of dollars each week and also prepare wholesome and healthy meals for your family in just 30 minutes.

The interactive workshop will be held in a relaxed and social atmosphere from 9.30am and during the morning, Anne will offer helpful advice and handy hints on:

  • How to create a seasonal 'menu' according to what your family eat

  • How to never run out of food

  • How to keep a running total of what is exactly in your pantry, fridge or freezer at all times

  • How to quickly create your shopping list

  • How to use up ingredients that are nearing their "best before" date

  • How to change your recipes without too much trouble

  • How to SAVE MONEY once and for all at the supermarket

Anne knows what it's like to be a single mum raising two children, all while trying to keep a roof over their heads. She hopes that this workshop will show how you can still have an abundance of food (plus all your other common items you buy at the supermarket like cleaning products, toiletries and other consumable products) without have to part with your hard earned cash.

"My grocery budget is $150 per fortnight and yours might be less or it might be slightly more if you have to buy special ingredients for family members who might have dietary restrictions. Anyone can do this!" said Anne.

Come along and enjoy delicious coffee and homemade cake and learn how you can save yourself a lot of stress in the kitchen when it comes to mealtimes and feeding hungry tummies.

Bookings are now open for this workshop and places are filling up: to secure your place, please click here. The participation fee is $15.75 pp and includes workshop materials, morning tea, tea, coffee and water. There will also be lucky door prizes.
