Tasty and drool-worthy vegan gluten-free Italian
Shop 225 in Pascoe Vale South is a hit among locals. However, this authentic and delicious (non-vegan) pizzeria has attracted a cult-like following among Melbourne's vegan and gluten-free communities with its specialised menus. Plus, Shop 225 is the first pizzeria in Australia to achieve an official gluten-free accreditation from Coeliac Australia.
Owner Lorenzo Tron and his dedicated team of chefs have created a stunning vegan menu with a plethora of gluten-free choices, from pizzas to sumptuous pastas and decadent desserts. By adapting traditional family recipes, Lorenzo and his team have learned to create exquisite casual meals for local vegans. Lorenzo's mission is to create more vegan options and provide more gluten-free options without losing Shop 225's Italian roots.

They will be hosting two virtual cooking classes, courtesy of the interactive cooking experience community named Drool. Home-cooks will discover how easy it is to re-create classic Italian flavours without meat, eggs, or dairy. Each class is $20 per person and all you need is access to Zoom. Drool and Shop 225 will then do the rest – email you the ingredients list, directions and Zoom details in advance then walk you through each recipe on the day.
