The Shoalhaven Superheroes Festival is a unique multi-location and multi event festival which is being held in Shoalhaven, on the NSW South Coast over a 7 day period between 27 September to 4 October 2015, This is a yearly event, dates and planned activities for future events will be available online from the events facebook page.
Superheroes Events Ltd' is a not-for-profit organisation made up of local Shoalhaven volunteers who are keen to spotlight the shoalhaven and people of the area. The festival not only celebrates the many volunteer community programs supported but also helps to raise money and promotes the Superheroes Volunteer Awards.
All fundraising from the festival goes to local charity and surplus proceeds are re-invested into running the event in subsequent years.
One of the key Events of the Festival is the Pop Culture Expo to be held at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre Nowra over 2 days on 3 – 4 October. The Shoalhaven Superheroes Expo will attract pop culture exhibitors, writers, artists, illustrators, cosplayers and iconic attractions from NSW and interstate, and will be an unique fun family orientated occasion for visitors and residents of the Shoalhaven.
Shoalhaven Police Inspector Steve Johnson, AKA Captain America has organised a trivia night, the pop quiz will be held at the Bottlerocket bar and cafe in Nowra on September 29th

3rd October - Berry Hotel Boogy on down on the dance floor with Nana Blade and a night of bopping and dress-up fun!
Berry School of Arts - 29th Sept An evening of fun and film with pop culture movies
Berry showground - 27th Sept
Join into a day time and early evening pop concert with The Villains headlining along with 4 other popular support bands.

One of the highlighted events will be held on 30th September - Superhero day
A day to recognise your local Superheroes big or small. People performing selfless acts within the community for the community. Everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero, the day will conclude with an gala awards dinner held in the Bomaderry Bowling Club, where volunteers within the local community will be recognised.
