Devonshire tea, BBQ sizzle lures shoppers to Cottage Market
Imagine the feeling when you have purchased the last Christmas gift and all you must worry about is what you want to do! Your Christmas gift choices are all wrapped up at The Shire Clerk's Cottage Christmas Market on Saturday 14th December. As there will be an abundant variety of specially crafted gifts, arts & crafts and homemade goodies, this will be your one-stop-shop for everyone you need.
This event will be the last Shire Clerk's Cottage Market for 2019, with a return not being until March 2020. With over seventy stalls lining up to provide the best of everything, you will not need to go anywhere else for gift shopping for the whole family this festive season. The market is fully booked, however, if you are a stallholder, you can leave your name and number and if there are any cancellations, the organisers will give you a call.

When all the shopping is done and purchased placed in the car, it's your turn to relax with a cuppa and a Devonshire Tea on the verandah of the Shire Clerk's Cottage. However, if you are not into sweets, why not head to the bacon and egg sandwiches or the sausage sizzle for a mouth-watering delight? If nothing else, the smell of the sausages and bacon cooking will certainly call you in from the street as you pass by.
All proceeds from these marrkets go towards the ongoing maintenance and running costs of the Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre. This alluring market can be found at 241 Tingal Road, Wynnum with the vendors opening at 8.00am through to 1.00pm.
