Behind the traditional façade of this little Shingle Inn lurks a Modern Australian menu with specialty teas from T2 and even a wine list.

traditional hospitality with modern menu
In Nanna's day, the Shingle Inn brand was synonymous with ladies partaking of high tea and scones, but the cosmopolitan clientele at Oracle expect so much more.

Coffee and Cake selection
You may have guessed. This is not your typical Shingle Inn.
This current incarnation of Shingle Inn at Oracle is only 11 weeks old, and the baby is clearly thriving. The savvy new franchisees, Paul and Dawn, and their two daughters, have set out to provide something special that suits the clientele attracted to the area. Their menu is an almost carbon copy of what has proven so successful in Brisbane's trendy Oxford Street at Bulimba, and it is appealing to patrons here in Broadbeach.
Menu items are marked as gluten free (GF), milk free (MF), healthy living (HL), and suitable for vegetarians (V).
The quality and freshness of their menu is unmistakeable, as all produce is sourced from local suppliers whenever possible, and fresh supplies of all baked goods arrive direct from the Capalaba bakery every morning.

Lamingtons, scones, and so much more
They understand and appreciate that high quality customer service is key, and this unpretentious little coffee shop may soon become a 'Destination'.
