A five-star burlesque production, and a first of its kind, this burlesque stage show is based on a true story that follows the life of Lady Shimmery, a dressmaker who becomes immersed in costuming for Burlesque. In her workroom and inspired by the romance of old-fashioned dressing rooms, adorned with sewing machines and mirrors, there's a cast of 20 who glisten with rhinestones, feathers and tassels. You are then transported to Paris, the backdrop for the story of when Lady Shimmery fell in love with the art of vintage tease.

Director Holly Mouat's mother - Kerrie Schultz - Shimmery Couture - the Head Costume Designer of the show is the centre of the story. She began her early artistic journey in graphic design before venturing into fashion and bridal couture. A trip to Paris in 2010 was the turning point, where she was captivated by the opulence of French Cabaret, which ignited Holly's passion for Burlesque.
