You might even meet Santa
Roll up, roll up, to the best festival of the year.

Everyone loves a community shindig and this is no exception.

The nineteenth annual Sherwood Community Festival is coming up at the end of the year, so circle Friday 21st November 2014 on your calendar so you don't forget.

[ADVERT]What's the Excitement About?

For the Kids
Maybe it's too early to be talking about Christmas but this community festival will feature their yearly Christmas Nativity Play with real camels and sheep, roaming Santa (I hope he doesn't get lost), free face-painting, free fun rides, balloons and bubble streams to chase. And that is just the beginning.

For the Adults
This year's main raffle prize (valued at $1500) is a weekend for two at the distinctive QT Hotel in Port Douglas. I am going to buy a ticket for sure.

For the Shoppers
Get your Christmas Presents at the many market stalls including handmade goods, jewellery, craft, clothing, ceramics, homewares, plants, car needs and lots more.

For the Food Lovers
Look no further with a range of ethnic food stalls will be available - Persian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian, vegetarian, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and a super Aussie BBQ. There will also be organic meats from our local butcher.

All this, along with the festival treats: cupcakes, ice-creams, gelatos, smoothies, milk shakes, soft serve, frozen yoghurts, lollies, licorice, popcorn and fairy floss, plus coffee varieties, iced lemon, spiced teas and soft drinks galore.

What more could you possibly wish for?
