Sure we all enjoy winter perks, decadent treats, warm sugary drinks and lazy afternoons. It is easy to fall into a routine and find yourself with a built up coat from hibernating. Endless rainy days and cold winds can make it seemingly impossible to go out and get moving, however in Adelaide it is so worth it because winter here makes everything intensely green.
The
Shepherd's Hill Recreation Park is located only 11 km from Adelaide city, with it's 360' views of Adelaide; it is a great spot for a hike, bike ride or a curious wonder.

There's a beautiful view wherever you look.
Walk the track and find yourself with a different view each time; the city, the ocean, the hills or the infinite amount of greenery and wild flowers growing under the trees.
The hike comprises a few steep hills, down hill and flat walking, so hiking shoes are recommended. If you enjoy bike riding more than walking, you can bring your bike and enjoy the jumping tracks. You can also bring your dog, as long as it's on a lead.
The conservation park is open 24/7, so no excuses to not get out and enjoy nature at its best!
