Shen Yun 2014 promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime extravaganza. As the live orchestra plays from the pit, voices rise in unison from the stage. Then, the banging of thunderous battle drums. The stage comes alive with a burst of energy and colour, and aerial masters leap and flip across the stage.

Shen Yun Performing Arts is a non-profit dance troupe based in New York. The group was founded in 2006 by practitioners of Falun Dafa and Falun Gong, after these peaceful practices were outlawed by the Chinese Communist Party.
