Shanghai Noodle House is a wonderful little restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. It has a diverse range of noodle-based dishes, as well as some exceptional side dishes too. The food not only tastes good, but comes in very generous quantities that you'll struggle to finish. You'll never leave hungry.

In addition to the noodle dishes, the restaurant also offer some alternatives such as clay pots, soups and rice dishes. You'll never sit waiting for these dishes either; the service is fantastic and quick. And if you can't even wait that long, you can enjoy the complimentary tea provided to you.

If you are to visit, the dumplings are a fantastic choice. Although they are small, they are fried off perfectly and taste absolutely superb. Some of the best dumplings in the area.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and will be happy to help you with any of the translations of dishes advertised on the walls, if you are feeling adventurous. They work their best to provide a friendly atmosphere and excellent service even when they are exceptionally busy.

One of the criticisms about Shanghai Noodle House is the lack of scenery, as the restaurant surrounds are a bit of an eyesore that really takes away from the atmosphere of Chinatown. This aside, the restaurant is still worth the visit.
