Top Australian Wines, Wine Tasting Events and David's Restaurant invite you to experience the exquisite flavours of Shanghai, accompanied by expertly paired wines this June.

On Tuesday 23rd of June, 2015, Top Australian Wines and Wine Tasting Events are hosting a 'Shanghai Chardonnay Dinner' at David's Restaurant; this special dining event will showcase unique blends and harvests of Chardonnay from around the world, alongside a delectable Shanghai feast.

This event will commence at 7pm.


To tantalise the taste buds, a selection of delicious entrees will be offered:

  • Shanghai greens and dried bean curd served cold and satisfying.

  • An 'Ocean's Bounty' – A special seafood basket of scallops, prawn and bamboo, prawn with chopped chives and baby pea leaves, and prawn dumplings.

  • Two generous portions of mouth-watering Peking duck.

  • Your entrees are served one after another, and with each new taste, enjoy a new taste of Chardonnay - 4 in total.

    Now the real feast begins with an array of seafood dishes:

  • David's famous 'Seafood Garden' — calamari, scallops, prawns, and crunchy rice cakes.

  • Coriander fish fillet and snow peas.

  • Peasant's Crab' – diced scallops, fish, and egg tossed in a wok.

  • Buddha's fried rice' with bok choy and egg.

  • Of course, with each dish, you savour four more award-winning Chardonnays.
