Are you looking for a quiet getaway that doesn't cost a fortune or take forever to get to? Around 15 minutes from the township of Mudgee is a quiet hideway where you can breath in the fresh air and take a few days out from the rat race.
Built by owner Bruce Barcham, the self contained cottage features 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, family/dining area and bathroom with seperate toilet. Step out of the living area on to the secluded tree top deck and enjoy the sounds of birds and the babbling creek below.
Take a walk in the bush or fossick around down near the creek. Stretch out on the deck and read a book while you enjoy the quiet.
The cabin has a stereo and DVD player if you can't go without for a few days, but you can easily while away hours watching the kangaroos feeding on the reserve below, or the array of birdlife only metres from your perch, while reading a book.
