An enchanting fairyland of antique delights
The Shabby Chic Vintage Marketplace
If you're an antique lover you will love this place

A lot of love has gone into setting up the Shabby Chic Vintage Marketplace. When you walk into Wisteria Lane it is so crammed full of knick-knacks and tea sets and old clocks and photo frames it looks like a cross between grandma's house and something out of a fairy tale. The Shabby Chic Vintage Marketplace was founded on August 28 in 2015 and is located at 35 McCoy Street in Myaree.

Wisteria Lane is a second-hand shop that sells collectables, arts and crafts, vintage and antique furnishings, industrial décor, shabby chic, rustic treasures and French Brocante Parisian finds. The Shabby Chic Vintage Marketplace is run by Wisteria Lane. It is located next door in a large second room called the Shabby Barn.

The marketplace runs market days where people can book a stall and set up a pop-up shop to sell their vintage goodies and antique treasures. The market days are usually held on Fridays from 10am to 8pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm. You should check out Wisteria's Facebook Page for the details of their next event. Previous events have been a huge success attracting hundreds of bargain hunters eager to get their hands on some vintage goodies.

If you have kids you're probably thinking "How can I go antique shopping if I have the kids with me?" the good news is Wisteria Lane has you covered! The "Wisteria Lane Fairy" visits the Shabby Barn and Wisteria Lane on certain days to entertain children and shower everyone with a little bit of fairy dust. Check Facebook for details!

A cupboard filled with all sorts of treasures

The thing I really liked about Wisteria Lane and the Shabby Chic Vintage Marketplace was how much effort had gone into making the place look whimsical and inviting to shoppers. The décor was very artistic. Someone has clearly spent hours going over every inch of the shop hanging strings of pearls and lovingly arranging photo frames and tea sets and filling cabinets with all sorts of knick-knacks and collectables.

A child's sized tea set

I also spotted some delightfully odd things like this children's sized china tea set. The cups and saucers were so small I felt nervous picking them up. I really liked the detail on them. I've been in a lot of antique shops and I've never seen something like this before. I thought it was really cool. It would make a great addition to a doll's house.
