Located out of Adelaide's city in Modbury lies Sfera's. Sfera's has a great reputation as a function centre, handling regular events from weddings to birthday celebrations.

The accommodation was first class, and definitely well worth it for the price. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in. The rooms were spacious and clean with a modern flavour. They are well equipped with an LCD TV, and all the essentials you would expect from a four star hotel. The little things like the coffee sachets and shampoos are of good quality and are plentiful. Run out? No worries, reception will happily replenish your supply.

Possibly the most attractive feature of the hotel is their restaurant and room service menu. Firstly, the prices are not over the top like many hotel restaurants seem to be. They are on par with pub type pricing. And secondly, the food was amazing. We had steak and seafood, and it was fantastic.

Both mornings we stayed there we had room service breakfast, and my oh my; the sautéed mushrooms on sourdough was unbelievable. I could have polished off a second serving quite easily, which is impressive considering the ample size of the serving.

Sfera's is worth considering when looking for accommodation, a meal, a function, or even a coffee in the cafe (be sure to try the mini muffins).
