If you're a die-hard fan of Sex and the City, then it goes without saying that the will most likely be one of the first things you do when you get to New York City. So, grab your girlfriends (or if you're going alone, just wait until you get to where the tour starts-you'll make some new ones, because you all already have something in common), and let's go see where Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda worked, shopped, and played.

The starts somewhere close to 5th Avenue and 58th Street. You'll be given the exact location of where to meet the tour group when you purchase your ticket.

How to get there

Depending on where you're staying in New York City, you may be able to walk to the starting point. Or, if you wish, you can take the subway, a bus, or a cab.

What to see

You'll see just about everything you remember and loved so much about Sex and the City. Here are just a few of the places that are actually connected with the TV show and movies that you'll stop at or pass: "Scout", the bar that Aiden owned, ABC Carpet and Home (remember the hilarious scene where Charlotte and Bunny McDougal fought over a bed?), and Buddakan, where Carrie and Mr. Big had their wedding rehearsal dinner. Believe me, there are a lot more places, but we don't want to spoil the fun. You'll just have to wait until you get on the tour to see the other hotspots.

You'll notice that some of the locations are in places such as Greenwich Village, SoHo, the Meatpacking District, and other areas around New York City. All of these places have sights of their own, so besides the locations, there's no telling what else you might see. If something in particular interests you, make a note of it and plan to return to that place another time.

What it costs; where to buy tickets; how long it lasts

The tour costs $42 per person, plus a separate $2 ticket fee. Tours begin at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day and last approximately 3 hours. You should plan to purchase your tickets as far in advance as possible of the date that you actually want to take the tour, because they sell out fast. You can order them online at Zerve, or call Zerve at 212-209-3370.
