Last Saturday, the wife and myself headed to Drummoyne. We had a voucher for a seafood platter and a bottle of wine. We were excited as we had never eaten in that suburb. The Bogan Express got us there comfortably and we waited after entering, as a sign said to wait there.

Please Wait
The guy at the reception was very apologetic about the misleading sign and ushered us to a table near the window. The view was spectacular and the restaurant was humongous.

The View
I've read about the seven sins and after my experience here, it does seem delightfully sinful. The sins are usually given as
wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. Now gluttony, lust, greed and pride I can understand and so will you after seeing the pictures. But, the others I'm not so sure of.
The hostess who attended to us was Eva. She was from Czech Republic and she was working and living in Sydney. She was headed back as she was home sick and would return in three months. We had a bit of a chat and she wondered why people often thought her accent was French, and I thought she could be Russian or Polish. I was close as all Slavs have a similar accent. Her service was polite, excellent and served with a smile and it didn't hurt that she was
gorgeous! Very
rare combo in Sydney. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of her, but I did of her
lovely hands which served us so well.

Serving With Grace
After we chose
Kladis Estate White Verdelho wine, our pretty hostess brought out the seafood platter. It was huge, which she already warned us of. It had generous portions of seared prawns, mussels, octopus, barramundi fillets, calamari, salad and fries. I tell you, life doesn't get better than this - a fantastic view, sipping on smooth white wine and gorging on a seafood platter, served by a gorgeous hostess with a smile. Fortunately we got in early before the
loud and bawdy crowd lazily made its way there. There has to be some advantage of being an
early bird.

The Sea Food Platter
We took our time devouring the platter and finishing the wine. The whole combination of view, food and service was so potent that it made us feel so good. It's a rare combination that one rarely finds in Sydney. The view was so
enchanting - the boats, the yachts and the lovely bungalow near the waters. We also got a 20% refund for a return visit and we definitely will be returning to have breakfast, and if the gorgeous Eva is there to serve us with a smile, nothing like it.

We loved the place, its food and service. Will definitely go back for more. I would encourage you to check it out.
