These days we're trying to stretch our dollar as far as we can. Sometimes it's tough to find the extra cash to fit in recreational activities.

Listed below are some terrific bargains on offer in order to stretch that dollar a bit further without hurting the budget too much.

AMF Bowling has a Bowling Madness deal. The cost of the deal is $15.00 per person, for three games of ten pin bowling, with shoe hire included. The deal starts after 6 pm and it's advised that a lane is booked prior to arrival. As part of the deal you need to join up as an AMF roller member (free to join) when you arrive. This deal is also available on Sunday after 6.00 pm.

Iceworld Olympic Ice Skating Rink at Acacia Ridge offers a Tuesday night skate from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. The deal includes a skate session and skate hire. The cost is $11.00 for adults and children from 6 years old or $9.00 for children aged 3-5. The rink also offers a Coffee and Skate session on Tuesday between 11.00 am to 12.30 pm for $10.50.

Every Wednesday from 6.00 pm Victoria Park Golf offers a Student Pizza Night (ID required) for $15.00 and a two for one Putt Putt for $16.00 ($8.00 each). The $15.00 pizza deal includes the choice of one pizza out of a selection of four varieties, and one beverage (beer on tap, house wine or soft drink).

The Brisbane City Council offers a free fitness circuit training class at Jack Cook Memorial Park Toowong between 6.30 am and 7.15 am. Booking are not required. Meet at the playground.

Digi Roller Skating Rink at Hillcrest has a Beanies and Uggs skate night from 7.30 pm to 10.00pm. In order to receive skating for half price ($5.00) you need to wear either a beanie or pair of ugg boots upon arrival. Skate hire is $3.00 per person. This offer is only available until 31 August 2011.

The Brisbane Lions have two remaining matches this session and are offering discounted tickets for their final home matches. An adult ticket from $25.50, $17.50 for a concession or $8.00 for children under 15 years. Alternatively there is a bargain priced family ticket available from $51.00 which allows entry for two adults and up to four children aged under 15 years.

Cineplex Australia located at Balmoral, Hawthorn, Southbank and Victoria Point has a late afternoon deal. After 4.00 pm on Sunday the cost of an adult ticket is $7.50 for adults, $5.50 for students and seniors, $4.50 for children and pensioners.
