A unique collaboration between a creative core group of female Indigenous Australians and Indian writers/ performers will together uncover the richness, significance and meaning of their cultural and spiritual stories.
The women will meet in Dreamtime and take an exploratory artistic journey through the past, present and future, bringing to life the stories of old in the face of the realities, challenges and constraints of the modern world. Join the artists as Hindu mythologies are interwoven with Indigenous Dreamtime to create 'Serpent Dreaming Women' presented at Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
Serpent Dreaming Women has been made possible by grant funding from the Australia-India council of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and is co-commissioned by Arts Centre Melbourne and Multicultural Arts Victoria.
