Who knew there was a farm within a 30 minute drive from Brisbane? I certainly never did! As someone who loves all animals, from dogs to snakes and everything in between, I was super keen to go. It's also pet friendly, a great plus for me (and Eddy!)

Here's some background information. All the animals at are rescued farm animals. I found it amazing how so many different types of animals could cohabitate the same area so peacefully. They are all obviously well-cared for, and have plenty of green space to enjoy - lucky them! Entry to the farm is only a gold coin donation, with all donations going towards the costs of maintaining the farm, so its all for a good cause.

Here are some of the animals that Eddy and I got to meet. Please note, I didn't get to take pictures of all the animals, as I was too busy trying to stop Eddy from eating all the different types of animal droppings... I definitely don't have photos of the camel, pigs, ducks, hens, and lambs, but I'm sure there are others. Go have a look for yourself, they are open every Sunday from 10am to 2pm, rain or shine.

All in all, it was a fabulous way to spend our Sunday. This would be a great and budget-friendly place for families to come and enjoy a day - there is lots of fun to be had! Eddy was exhausted in the car on the way home...

...and has also passed out while I write this article. Rest up while you can buddy, we'll be going on another adventure real soon.
