Spring has arrived, September school holidays are just around the corner and what do most Australian families love to do? Camp, of course!
Australian Adventure Park is the absolute ultimate in waterfront camping, caravanning and glamping (my style of camping) and with an enviable location just shy of 200kms north of Buderim, makes for a very do-able September school holidays outdoor family treat.
What is even more appealing is that for the September school holidays,
Australian Adventure Park have a very special offer running. If holidaymakers book two huge lakeside, unpowered sites - 15m x 15m - for $80 per night, which caters for up to eight people, it's
a saving of $40 per night! An additional charge of $10 per person will be applied for individuals over and above the eight people.
Australian Adventure Park has so many activities to offer:
Fishing - lake and river
Kayaking - bring your own kayak
Cycling - bring your own bicycles
Archery
Flying Fox
Abseiling
Swimming in freshwater lake
Obstacle course
Nature walks
Fires are permitted - don't forget to pack the marshmallows!
Dog friendly - another huge bonus - who wants to leave their furry family members in somebody else's care, whilst away on holiday
Town water
Full amenities
Onsite shop
Birdwatching
Animal petting
Book any of the above park activities after arrival at Australian Adventure Park, and the whole family can decide what fun activities to do together. For the September/October school holidays,
all park activities will offer a 20% discount - fantastic news to get the kids out to play!
The waters are warming up, so fishing and swimming should be fantastic! My Dad used to be a keen fisherman and he always said that months with the letter 'R' are the best months for fish to bite - so, September and October are looking good for keen anglers! More good news: a fishing permit is included in the accommodation rates.
Glamping is priced from $79 per night for two people
Powered sites are from $60 for four people
Unpowered lakesideā¦or Nomads Paddock from $24 for two people
For additional rates or to book online, via Australian Adventure Park, please click here.
Go walkabout with your family and your friends for an awesome bush camping adventure. A wonderful opportunity to beat the city grime and enjoy some quality family time!
PS - Don't forget to pack your furry family members too
