Australians love our multicultural aspects. We are proud of our melting pots of countries most of us have originated from and the indigenous communities that have lived here for so long - it is what makes us uniquely Australian.
We love a good party or celebration. No matter that they aren't ours or anything to do with our beliefs, we'll enjoy your celebration along with you.
I have comprised a list of the unique celebrations that take place within Australia each month and the original community or country which they originated from.
The dates listed are relevant for 2013 although for future years the dates may vary for each event this list should remain fairly accurate with varying dates in future years from this time.
