Soulful Seoul food, authentic
Bucket Meal
Bucket meal at Seoul Soul

A rare addition is bringing excited foodies to Victoria Street in Abbotsford / Richmond. The polished gem is Seoul Soul, a Korean chargrill restaurant, which is already the talk of town for its modern space and pure authenticity from the South Korean capital city. A sense of sophistication is in the air in the design-conscious interior. The beauty doesn't stop there; the chargrilled meats and colorful home-styled plates are truly delightful.

The new modern restaurant is already popular among the locals and foodie Melbournians for lunch and dinner. Seoul Soul's signature menu is bucket meal (pictured above) filled with your choice of satay meat in slightly spicy sauce, vegetables, fried dim sum, and bed of rice. The filling bucket makes a perfect lunch under $15!

Sitting in for dinner, small plate entrees are truly tempting to order in variety. The concise yet varied menu is conveniently designed to share between a few friends. Their main menu, chargrilled meats, are easy to stuff yourself with. With the chopped pork belly, to be dunked in salty sesame oil or spicy sauce, you can't go wrong. Beef and chicken are alternatively available to be enjoyed in this style, and complementary kimchee and pink pickles go well with such simple dishes.

Vegetable japchae, Korean stir-fried noodles, is another recommendation to enjoy your chargrilled heaven with. The sweet and savoury potato starch noodles are flavoured with fragrant sesame oil and soy sauce.

Seoul Soul's drink list includes some pleasing Korean favorites. In addition to the lineup of beers, making a nice appearance on list are Korean rice liquor and non-alcoholic corn tea. These are sure to complete your experience at the unique grill, Seoul Soul.
