Sensory Garden Workshop and Garden Makeover could well be the event that the doctor ordered in more ways than one. Attendance is FREE, but you need to register to attend on Saturday 10 April 2021 from 10am to 12pm at The Hut Community Centre, 1 Euston Rd, Aldgate. Come along and meet likeminded others in the community and enjoy morning tea that'll be provided at no cost.
You will learn the benefits of creating sensory elements in your own garden, and will get hands-on, in a simple garden makeover. The Sensory Garden is an exciting element to the ongoing upgrade of The Hut Community Centre platform, community gardens and outdoor spaces. Occupational Therapist Carolyn Jarrett will be on hand for you to gain some insight into the wellbeing benefits of sensory gardens. Plus your efforts will contribute to the shared community space, and help bring it back to life.
