According to the Queensland Government website, Queensland Seniors Week provides opportunities to promote positive community attitudes towards older people and ageing, facilitate community participation, and enhance community connections, aligning with the Queensland Government's vision of building age-friendly communities in Queensland.

Senior Citizens Concert on Sunday, 18th of August.

Commencing at 1:30pm at the Cleveland Assembly Hall at 42 Smith Street, Cleveland, this performance features the local Concert Band with a guest appearance from Windsor Brass.

This is a wheelchair-friendly venue with onsite parking. Afternoon tea is also included. Gold coin donation appreciated.

The Redlands Sporting Club at Anson Road, Wellington Point, is holding some Free Dance Workshops in the Main Lounge.

Latin Dance Class on Sunday 18th of August. 10:30am till 12:30pm
Cha Cha Cha

Line Dancing Class on Monday 19th August. 10am till 11:30am

Latin Dance Class on Sunday 25th of August. 10:30am till 12:30pm
Let's Rhumba

Line Dancing Class on Monday 26th of August. 10am till 11:30am
