Writing for pleasure to showcase the best Australia has on offer.
Libraries have always been a place of information and literary resource and it is quite amazing how far libraries have come from a stop-and-borrow shop of days gone by. Libraries are now offering courses, workshops and events while also bringing the public back to their business for more than just borrowing a book.
Melbourne's Library at The Dock is located on the waterfront and is considered the next-generation library and community hub. As well as the usual library collection service, Library at The Dock has a recording studio, creative editing suits, a large performance venue, available community spaces and a gallery and exhibition space celebrating the Docklands' heritage. Library membership is free to everyone.
