As part of Seniors Week, Sutherland Shire Council and Bushcare are hosting a coastal walk along the Cronulla peninsula. This guided walk is ranked easy, is two hours long and is a guided walk. Put on those walking shoes and enjoy a leisurely and informative walk with like-minded people.
This is a beautiful way to keep fit, you will see spectacular bushland and views along the way. As an easy walk, it is suitable for people with some fitness level.
Doing a walk like this is also a great way to meet new people, people just like you who want to stay fit and healthy.
This walk includes Gunnamatta Park, Hungry Point and Darook Park. Along the way learn about the natural environment and how Bushcare helps in keeping our bushland safe for everyone to enjoy.
Graded an easy walk, there is some walking in sand and over tree roots, so closed shoes only. Also, wear a hat, bring along sunscreen, morning tea and water. There will be many photo opportunities along the way. Photo enthusiasts, be ready with your camera and phones.
